Japanese, I guess. Hate it, ruins normally long beautiful hair. So much thickness is lost.

Similar (but not nearly as bad) is when Indian woman have pieces cut short in the sides to shoulder length. I think they call it a "Flick". It takes away from the thickness, but usually they have a lot of thickness anyway. Also not as blunt as the Hime, so it blends better.
