It takes a little self-control but, if you are concerned about spam and viruses, just don't click on messages unless they are from trusted sources. This board is very well moderated but, like anything else, it takes some time to get it done. If you wait until the moderator gets a chance to do his job, the new posts will either be there if they are safe - or gone. If they are gone, you will not have missed anything except the grief.
